New Childrens Museum

 We checked out a new childrens museum cast and all this week.  They had a huge chalk board.

 Emma said this was a drawing of her family.  Quinn, Emma, Mama, and Dada.

 They had an outdoor section.  The theme is trash, so you could paint this car.  My guess was the color the day before was yellow.  We got there right when they opened.

 I asked her to smile, this is what I get.

The cast has not slowed her down.  She climbed these tires (remember trash theme) and was rewarded by going down via a slide. 

Broken Arm, but not Broken Dreams

 Emma got a sling and xrays, here she is waiting to hear if it is broken or not.  She was coloring and goofing around making friends with everyone in the waiting room.

 A couple weekends ago our small neighborhood had a Clairemont Family Fun Day.  Emma got to go on the elephant ride and dragon ride.  Made it by about 1/4 inch.

Heat Wave

 It has been pretty hot here for San Diego.  No AC in our place so lots of days hanging out in our undies in the yard.  (mostly just Emma and Quinn)

Fun in the Sun

 I got a new phone and cant figure out why these pictures are so small, but if you look closely Emma is petting a 6 day old Choc lab puppy.  The people across the street have 8 (now 2week) old puppies so there will be many more puppy pictures in the future!

 We have a playground about a half mile down the street from our house.  The swings are a fav.

One day when Emma and I were walking Buster around the block we met Kate.  Emma is 10 days older than Kate and they are new best friends.  We went for a walk with them yesterday and they hugged and held hands the whole time.

Californiaaaaa

 Quinn has been taking her blanket out of her crib now and puts it on the ground and lays on it sucking her thumb.  She pulled it outside the other day and layed on our walkway.

Sunny San Diego!

Well we made it here.  We have a new small pad complete with white picket fence where Emma and Quinn are sharing a room (sort of, Emma is sharing ours too).  It seems to be sunny and 70s every day here.  Mema already visited and took Emma and Quinn to SeaWorld where she was excited to meet Grover and Abby at Sesame Street Alley.  Abby gave her a big hug, there was a huge line for Elmo so she just waved to him.  We also have been to the beach several times and checked out the San Diego County Fair where Elizabeth and Emma got to ride on an elephant!  Quinn also had her first big bump on her head from falling into a sharp corner and we bought a new car!!  It has been a packed first several weeks.  I will get back on the blog more regularly....start planning visits :)
