Road Trip (or Plane Trip)

Waiting patiently at the San Diego airport for our flight to Denver.

On our first plane. She yelled 'blastoff" when the plane took off.

We awoke to 3-4 inches of new snow and it was dumping while we were sledding.   Fun!!

Trying to catch snowflakes.

Weeeeee.  We went sledding when it was 3 degrees out too, but for some reason I didnt get any pictures :)

Cousin Elizabeth took Emma to the Y where she works for a dip in the kiddie pool.

If we were outside she was in the snowbank picking up snow.

Emma watching Aunt Deb practice the french horn.  She was very entertained by it.

Cousin Carter is here!

Emma was super excited to see snow when we stopped to eat on the way from Minneapolis to Duluth.  She must have yelled snow 50X before she fell asleep on the 2 hour drive.  And it was about 7 degrees here when we stopped!

Uncle Dean entertaining Emma & Carter with storytime.

Another story night with Uncle Dean.

Testing out Uncle Deans warm hat.  Grandma Sandy made her the nice cozy sweater she is wearing.

This is how we entertained ourselves in the Denver airport on our layover.  A lot of trips on the people mover.

What greeted us when we landed in MN.

What greeted us when we landed in SD for home!

Art

It takes some concentration to play games on the Ipad.

We went to the Childrens museum with Grandma this week.  Played a lot and did a little art.  Emma is making a pizza out of clay.  Quinn is mostly trying to eat it.

Budding artist.

We pulled the tape off when we got home.   Looks pretty good.  I forgot to take the "after" picture.

Lunch at IKEA, mmm lingonberry drink.  She did like it she is just making a funny face.  Look for bunkbed pictures soon!

For the Birds

Guess who got some new binoculars for Christmas?
It was a little chilly this morning when we took Buster around the block for some birdwatching.

Brave.  Thankfully she didnt fall off the top when she crawled up there too.

 Higher, higher....higher!
Stamping.
