Emma is Three!

Emma opening Engines for her birthday in her Thomas PJs.

 It's Salty!

Off to the Southwick Zoo in Mendon, MA.

 Capybarra?

In deer forest.  These guys were hungry!

Traded places.  It was 90 so pink cheeks.

Petting zoo had llamas behind this fence and then tons of goats and sheep running around.

 Funny llama.

There was a bird show going on and if you put your hand out you could hold a bird.  She was pretty excited.

This is the gift she picked out from the giftshop.  A rubber snake..... (and you will see why her hair is wet below).

Pooped out on the way home from the zoo, napping with her snake.

 Pool time....

Emma made a mud puddle in our raised garden bed since we havent planted a garden.

 Yep.  Mud.

And the nice pool has turned to mud as well.

Emma got a birthday cake at my going away party with coworkers.

And when she thought no one was looking she tried a bite.

Getting ready for the party.  This was my dress when I was a little girl.

Top the birthday off with some watermelon!!!  Her favorite.

Her eyes are scary, but I love the watermelon juice off the chin.

 On to cake....

Mothers Day Weekend

Emma, Quinn and I went to a fair that was on a beach (only in RI!) Emma got to ride her first pony.

She wanted to do it all by herself.

Emma has been into digging for worms in our garden latley.  Quinn got into the act as well, guess where this handful ends up.....

 Yep, dirt is good.

There was a petting zoo at the fair too.  Lots of goats, ponies, and even a camel, but it didnt want anything to do with us.

Hitting the beach after all the fun fair events and food.

Anna, Emma and Quinn making sand castles.

 That was tiring!!

 Baby goat.

We went to the zoo on Mothers Day and the bear was right next to the glass and upside down.

If you look closely (or click this picture) the anteater has a baby, it's a girl and its on her back.

We decided this would be a great if Quinnys picture was inserted instead of goats.

Emma loves the ants in our driveway. We decided to feed them a little piece of marshmellow to see what they would do.  That is the white piece on the left of the picture.

Ants.  She is saying "they are soooo cute"

More Super Emma

I don't know where she gets these ideas, but usually the first thing that pops in my head is "sorry mom".  She did this about 20 times and then did it again tonight after seeing the video for the first time.

Super Emma

Here is the latest of Emma doing her best impression of Super Grover, her version is Super Emma and she "flies through the sky".  Bathtimes are fun around here!

Finally Some Sun

A sunny day finally in between the rainy days.  We went to a toddler park that is fun for everyone.

 Typical crooked Quinny grin.

And more typical Quinny being quizzical.

Thought her toes looked cute sticking out after she lost a shoe.

Oh yeah, she ate as much as she threw around!

No wonder my sister has been hanging out on these the whole time! Weeeeee.

Emma took this snapshot of Daddy and Quinn.

Oh and one more good swing picture, with Emma going "way up high" and Daddy wearing Quinns hat that kept falling off.
We came home and filled the pool up in the backyard and Emma really wanted to find some worms, so we dug a little bit in the garden and she got her wish.

Here she is looking over the nice home she built them in Busters frisbee.  He wasn't as happy and kept trying to pick it up, but Emma fended him off until we buried them back in the garden dirt.
