Biker Girl

Emma's new hiding place.  She turns the light on in our pantry closet and closes the door.

 Peeking out.

She asked me to take a picture of her and Pongo.

It is 60 out today so we took the bike outside for a spin.

Action shot of her zooming down our street (for those of you who havent been here it is a dead end).

Here's the action video of Emma on her scoot bike.

My work had a party at an ice rink this week so Emma tried it for the first time.  She was a natural and had a lot of fun.

 Look at her go.....

Chillin' on the way to the library.

The library just reopened the toddler section and they have remodeled it with some new comfy chairs.  There also is a tree to climb in and interactive games and areas to get kids excited about reading and imagination.

Emma and I were playing hide and seek with Buster and hiding in the tent in her room.  Couldnt help but take a picture of that hair!!!

He found us and joined us!

Phone Pictures

Here are some good pictures of the week I pulled off of my phone.  Most are from the last couple of days.  I did miss a great picture opportunity of Emma yesterday.  Her and I got up at 7am together and let Dada and Quinny sleep, I turned on Sesame Street for Emma and took Buster out for a walk.  When I returned George and Quinn were still asleep and Emma was sitting at the table eating ice cream out of the pint.  She pushed one of our chairs over to the freezer (the fridge has a lock on it) and helped herself.  I said, Emma what are you doing we don't eat ice cream for breakfast.  And she said "oh, okay mama" and put the top back on and put it away.  Trickster......

Emma's favorite stump at the park by our house.  She jumped off today and yelled "Suuuuuuper Emma".  She is super!

Quinn is getting a hang of eating.  She shovels it in fast, but I am pretty sure she got some in her mouth!

George asked me to help him cut his hair last Sunday and I am horrible at it so declined.  He came out of the bathroom with no hair!!  It is filling in and he said it is like a built in thermometer.

Buster found one of the biggest sticks he could find the other day.  He does what we call buckin' bronco and gets so excited he kicks his back legs up while he is running with his new found stick.  It is pretty funny.  Picture doesn't do it justice.

Snow, Snow, Snow!

We finally have some snow.  This was Friday morning, we got about 3 inches or so overnight.  Then it snowed pretty much all day yesterday, with maybe 8 more.

Buster was loving looking for sticks in the snow.  He was going nuts.

 Crazy dog.

I think she was doing a taste test.

Buster was pooped after a half an hour at the park.

Emma and I built a snowman today.  We had to put Buster inside because he kept trying to eat our snowman and steal his arms.

This week in cold RI...

 Emma wanted a close up.

 Hanging out.

The girls first bath together.  It went pretty well.  Quinn splashed a lot and Emma didn't mind.

Quinns first time sitting in Emmas chair.  Note the piece of pear on her nose.

Look closely and you can see the two new teeth on the top.  She is back to her normal smiley self after two weeks of no sleep and grouchiness.

There is the bottom ones.  If you click on the picture you can see it closer.  She also is pulling herself up on stuff and taking small steps if you hold her hands.  She is progressing FAST!!

Happy 2012!

We hung out in the backyard on Christmas.  It was cold and we have absolutely no snow.

 Emma and a sisterly  moment.

This is from yesterday, it was 50 and sunny to start 2012 nothing better than a mud puddle.  Happy New Year everyone!

Gingerbread House

We got a gingerbread house kit in the 75% off bin!  What a messy fun time.

One for the house, one for me....

Ta Da.  Now what do we do with it?
