Hello Irene

Thought I would get some video while it stopped raining for the moment. High winds and lots of rain so far, but the worst for us is in a couple of hours. Probably won't have power for 24 hours, but hoping for the best. Quinn is a rock :)

Aunt Deb

Aunt Deb came to help out with the kids during my surgery week. Things went well with surgery and looks like I hopefully will get back full range of motion or close to it in my arm!! Yay! Deb and Emma had fun making cookies and Quinn loved the extra attention. Here are some pics of the week.

Bear Hugs

Emma has found a new way to get what she wants, pull ups and climbing. She is incredibly strong for a 23lb petite 2yr old!! Also got some good bear hug pics and Emma deciding the floor just wasn't tall enough for her chair and a little Curious George.

Quinn

We've been trying to get Quinn some more belly time so she will roll over. She made it half way today but stopped to swat at some dangling toys. I took her out in the yard and she hung out while Emma and I played tonight. She was very content laying on a blanket in the grass.

Maine Attraction

We have been busy, but not busy taking pictures or updating the blog! We took Emma and Quinn camping in Maine for a couple of days last week and had a great time. One of my old friends from Colorado has a sister who lives in Maine that he was visiting so we went to visit too. There were five kids from 2-5 and Quinn so it was a loud, fun three days! Here are a few of the pictures of our adventure. I wasn't very good about taking pictures, but it is our campsite, Emma on the swing, and then a new way to swing that the boys taught her, and us out on a boat pulling up lobster traps. We ended up with not enough lobsters for everyone so we made lobster paella! It turned out delicious. Emma wasn't too happy about wearing a life jacket so we were encouraging her to keep on her backpack! On the way home George was nice enough to drop me off in Boston and I went to a Redsox game with my friends and took the train home! Thanks Daddy!
