Emma's Two!!

I can't believe Emma is two already but she is and she had a great time yesterday. She got a push bike, a wagon, and lots of Elmo books. She sure loves Elmo!! Here she is enjoying her special day.

Indio Point Park

We checked out a new park today. It is down on Naragansett Bay not too far from the house. They had a fun ship themed playground where Emma was a great boat captain and Quinn got to hang out in the sling. We also pulled out the backyard pool today it was almost 80 degrees!! Fun times.

Eight Weeks and Three Days

Quinn is growing up so fast!! She is smiling and cooing everyday now and loves hanging out with her sis (when she isnt getting poked in the eye or trampled on). Here are some pics of the week, we were able to bring out the summer romper.

Elizabeth Was Here

Elizabeth was here for a short 3 day visit. We did the usual Providence visit and went to the zoo during the one afternoon we did not have rain or thunderstorms. Here are some pics from the visit.

More Rainy Days

The rain doesn't seem to want to go away, but it isn't keeping us down and trapped inside. Here is Quinn out on a stroll taking in the trees and Emma enjoying running through the wet park. Also Emma picked out her own outfit when we got back and had to change out of all her wet clothes. She picked tights and a shirt...hmm.

May

Emma wore herself out again yesterday and fell asleep in her chair after wolfing down two eggs and a pear. She almost hung onto the fork too. Today we had rain on and off so she was able to test out her rain boots again and get some puddle jumping in. I also tossed in a picture of the dogwood tree across the street for you mom. It is pink, I have never seen a pink dogwood.

Artsy Big Sister

I pulled out the paints and Emma had some fun fingerpainting. I thought it was going to be a big mess, but she really only used one finger! Emma also got a new ball at Target the other day and insisted on holding it all the way home. Quinn is much more aware of her surroundings now and is starting to give us smiles everyday.
